    Some players actually improve with the responsibility of captaincy.

    There are other players those skill are best focussed purely expressing them on the football pitch.

    Adel would probably be a worse captaincy choice than David Luiz was for Brazil, in the WC semi.

    He did a dammed good job in our plast promotion season, although that was because the whole team was built around him.

    Why not? We haven't got anyone in our entire squad who can influence a game of football.

    I fully expect him to leave as he will be wanted by a better club with much better fans as ours don't understand football and have been brain washed by TV ... left fickle and useless and have no one at the moment to slag off

    In that season he was the token captain but everyone could see that the real captains were a couple of other players in the team.
