I think you seriously underestimated Sri Lanka earlier. They have excellent spinners and the wicket was always going to suit them.
England recovered superbly, with Morgan finding some form and Buttler simply sensational.
What a ton!!
Not done yet with England bowling with a wet ball.

Not really simply comparing them to what they used to be ! The days if Sangakarra, Jayawardena , Malinga and such are long gone. I don't rate their batting at all these days. Always gonna have decent spinners on these types of surfaces
 
One down already poor running, fantastic knock from Buttler & 112 from last 10 overs, sensational
