Reet then, after the 'horses mouth' revelations that Gyan may not be here next season (i reckon he will, but let's just play along here), i chucked me thinking hat on, and came up with a not too shabby starting 11 for next season....

GK -Gordon - Top drawer, and too ****ing brittle to attract a bid to buy. Winner.

RB - Hutton (Gyan deal)
CB - Onouha
CB- Titus (Samba if poss, depends on Blackburn staying up.. whichever of these would be captain)
LB - Emilo Izaguirre (£6million)

LM - N'Zog (based on Titus patter last night, £8million, reduced due to relegation)
CM - Nico Kranjkaer (Gyan deal)
CM - Meyler
RM - Jordan

MOLE IN THE HOLE - Sessegnon
CF - Pavlyechenko (Gyan deal)

Yes, it's one up top, but one who holds the ball and links decent, with the pace of Zog, Jordan and Sess, and the great dribbling and passing skills of Nico to find the runners.

Now, i'd rather keep Gyan, but i'm putting a positive spin on the worst case scenario, and i ****ing like this team, and it would cost PEANUTS, as Gyan would bring in a packet.

Subs?

Turner, Steed, Catts, DANNY GRAHAM (£2.5m), Knott, Noble, Mig22.

Clearly, we would need another striker, but as i'm struggling to think of anyone, i'll work with what i can place, i think Graham would be busting his balls to be a success, and i think the midfield would have great movement and creativity, till they all get hamstring injuries and we fall apart like Jerseys Punto ;)

It's a loose draft, but it shows that we could potentially change a lot.

Ned and Samba/Titus would be a collosal and athletic pairing, Hutton was class for us, Emilo is probably unrealistic, but Scottish football is ****, so hey, have a go!

Over to you bunch of window lickers to pull holes in my cunning plans...

What about the Bard? I think Colback deserves a place on the bench

Syd: PLEASE, not Crouch - Defoe (another mercenary with nowt to prove), What about Jarvis?

I agree about Bard, Colback and Jarvis is quality, i was only making the staring point, so those 3 mixed in with what i came up with, and you can still see an excellent side developing.

Gyan stays, my team......

GK -Gordon - Top drawer, and too ****ing brittle to attract a bid to buy. Winner.

RB - Bardsley
CB - Onouha
CB- Bramble
LB - Risse (£5 million from Roma I think he play at)

LM - N'Zog (based on Titus patter last night, £8million, reduced due to relegation)
CM - Cattermole
CM - Dempsey (£10 million)
RM - Sess

CF - Defoe (£8 million)
CF - Gyan

Subs?

Turner, Steed, Welbeck (Swap Henderson), Richardson, Noble, Petrov (£5 million from Villa as cover for Catts), Mig22

I wouldnt mind Zamora as well from Fulham but noway they would sell both Dempsey & Zamora

Dempsey is a great shout, but i know he wouldn't leave London, as my lass arranges, or has arranged, travel for his family, and they adore London.

You not rate Meyler? I think if his injuries are behind him he'll be massive next season.

OI YOU LOT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Iam inmourning for this season, dont get me going about the next.

Best way bill marra.

We pretend this season never ever happened, and go back to the optimism of pre-season.

'5-1? What the **** you on about?'

'West Brom? Fulham? You're ****ing nuts'

'Riveros is class he just played a pivitol role in getting Paraguay to the world cup'

'Darren Bent not in the World Cup squad, well **** him he smells'

It works mate.

let's do the time warp again, let's do the time warp again,

with a step to the left, and a jump to the right.................

just logged on had to take her that must be obeyed out last nigh, anyway read muffys ideas and had an instant boner for it , will read the rest now.

SAF has already said he see's Welbeck as part of his plans for next season soooo...basically no chance of getting him. I for one am not all too bothered about it, he has had some fantastic games for us but imo hes one for the future, atm we need proven prem standard forward. Even if we could get him back for another season what would be the point? We arnt going to progress very far if all we ever do is blood players for SAF

as for the team...spot on
