If hes still playing in the BC team, its a good indication hes going nowhere... cause theres no way they would play him if our offer had been accepted.

What are miss the start of the season. I would like us to sign Maynard but if he doesnt come i wont be crying over it, Sven has enough options and is closing in on a striker
Sometimes i think it would have been easier just to get CMS in, and tbh i wouldnt have minded that at all.
I don't think Sven will let the Maynard thing run 'til the end of the month. He'll have a deadline whereby if it isn't accepeted he'll move on to another target - probably Monday or Tuesday.
Offer has not been accepted but it's not been rejected after 2 days. I say that's promising. I think if we get him the bid will be negotiated though.
There is one more option for him and I think it may be the one he is taking - don't sign for either Leicester or brizzle and run his contract down and get a lump sum signing on fee when he leaves brizzle on a free next year - A poor option for everyone, including Maynard
