I enjoyed the game, good offense from the Patriots but well defended by the Rams. Interesting tactically, close especially when Goff got going 2nd half, tough, and the result was in the balance to the last minute.
Just had some comment from mates in the US on the owl. Great defensive game was the consensus. And the Patriots as a team are appreciated as a model of sustained success, it’s their fans who everyone else hates. Arrogant, entitled, crass, plastic etc etc. Now, I wonder which club that would equate to over here? Answers on a postcard.
I suppose it was a game for the purists but heavy going for the casual observer. The two best teams this season never made it so the opportunity of a high scoring points-fest was never on. Brady is simply re-writing the record books and will be back for more next season, he seems to have survived 'deflategate' with impunity...
