WhoScored? have released their statistical match preview:
http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/720355/Preview/?

They seem to have Snodgrass as 'out' and RvW as 'doubtful' though - pretty sure they're both in contention aren't they?

They've predicted a narrow Sunderland win.

they are in contention JK; we know CH has history of being rather cautious with returning players, so i would not be surprised to see neither of them travel to the north east

CH was very upbeat about both RvW and Snods in his press conference, so I hope they'll be on the bench at least. Has to be a lift for the team as a whole for the Christmas crush of games. I like 'Whoscored' and look forward to their analysis, but their predictions are just one man's guess. They had us losing 2-0 to WBA, for example. I'm feeling confident of a draw at least, in spite of Sunderland's win over Chelsea in the cup, who, it has to be said dominated play 80% of the match. Looking forward to this one! OTBC!

Based on the Chelsea game i'd expect Sunderland to "press" giving us no time on the ball, we don't tend to respond to such tactics well. As we know all too well, confidence makes such a big impact to performance and after the cup win youd expect their confidence to be high so i think we might find it difficult tommorrow!

I'm hoping we can score early to deflate their confidence a bit and make them come at us chasing the game as i think we are better on the break against teams. just hope our defence doesnt get ino the Xmas spirit and give away any more gifts!

Tricky one this, they appear to be building some momentum and the confidence around their club is noticeably lifting of late. It's definitely a game we should be looking to win, and I'm definitely not ruling it out but a part of me thinks I'd be happy enough with a point.

The only downside to Snoddy coming back is.....if he plays, he will presumably be on the right, which means Redmond will be pushed to the left, where he appears to be a little less effective (if recent games are a measure to go by)

lawro has predicted 2-1 sunderland, a predictable lawro prediction. also thinks that if that happens hughton will be under pressure again.

Tweet from RvW. You know, the one who'll never play for Norwich again once we've paid off the remainder of his contract <laugh>

Thank you Father Christmas for my gift this year. A healthy toe. Couldn't wish for anything else!

Goodness me. I remember when I lived in Bristol it used to take just under 5 hours to get back to the motherland on the train - not fun.
Canary Dave is a Norwich fan who some of us Black Cats have took very much to our hearts..I will be meeting up with him tonight for a few beers and a chin wag..<ok>
