I'm trying not to think about throwing the towel in but this is hard to take. Thought that this of performance would have been behind us but maybe I'm looking too much through the rose tinted glasses. After all the bluster and good words over the summer and the massive changes in personnel to change the clubs fortunes, we are now 2.5 games in to the new season and I feel PDC is in huge trouble after this tonight. Played well enough v Fulham but got beaten. Played pretty poorly v Southampton and sneaked a hardly deserved point Playing 1st Division MK Dons at home FFS in the cup and 2 goals down already and being totally outplayed and out classed. Like it or not, defeat in this manner will damage PDC and his tough man stance because who is going to believe him now when he says its revolution? This is capitulation and suicide and will add to the critics who say he cannot manage top players (I use that in the loosest of terms after tonight BTW) and isn't taking the players with him. 70 mins until we had our first corner? We have played a full strength side here and we are getting stuffed out of sight. What does that say? All the other EPL teams are avoiding banana skins and being professional. We need 2 goals just to get it to extra time. Our problem is we cant score goals. I have not seen anything that would make me buy my season ticket yet and I am very pleased to have stuck to my guns this summer. I know its early days bit this defeat is a massive blow to PDC's credibility IMO and unless results improve in the league, that pressure will only gather momentum. Different manager; different players but the same shower of ****e performances from SAFC Hugely disappointing and massively annoying.

I think this result and the manner of it will be massively damaging to the PDC project. Pressure will only ramp up now and if results fail to materialize, I think PDC is in deep trouble here. He needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat tonight? Maybe Altidore has given him hope? 1-2
