Storth, South Cumbria.
We all know how our first six matches have panned out but just thought how the players felt when they came off last night?
Are they celebrating another clean sheet or bemoaning their inability to score more goals that their overall play warranted.
Do the defenders feel under extra pressure to keep that clean sheet because the strikers aren't giving them the chance to relax much cos most of our games have been tight.
Do the other strikers Grigg, Graham who have barely featured think they could do better given a chance or do they accept the old addage of not changing a winning team.
Is O'Brien thinking I'm getting some minutes late on and not taking the limited chances I've had.
The squad must be in a happy place, well you'd think so but are they thinking we could do better, in fact we should be played 6 won 6 as they haven't played anyone other than part of the Peterborough game where they haven't been under any real pressure.
Are they content playing this pressing game which is working well and do they trust PP, it's a strange one really because were in a good place but are the players like us fans and they want more...let's hope so.

If we keep playing teams like the first 6 we will go up no bother, we have not been tested apart from Peterborough, Charlie scored a good header last night, we have O Brien and Kimp to hit form, Maguire was exellent, Gooch could have scored. The defence has been 100 percent ! the penalty against us was not, but i would not speak to soon cos this is Sunderland we are talking about. I would take 15 1-0 wins this season, i think they play with more freedom away. Doncaster and Hull will be a test to see how good we are. really good start though and long may it continue.

I imagine they're all happy enough apart from Grigg who has been in a slump since we signed him. Wyke would probably be similar although he's the favourite so he'll be ok.

I wonder about O'Nien, is it getting on his wick never playing in the position he's played in all his life or is he enjoying the challenge of playing different roles.

Jesus, some doubters on here. I'm guessing the dressing room should be a pretty happy place. However, if any player is happy thet are not playing then they need looking at. With games thick and fast most should get an opportunity.

what brings you to this outcome?
Cos he's the most negative poster on this forum
calls himself a Sunderland Supporter but dossent understand the word supporter he thinks that means pull the manager and players to bits at every opportunity. Pathetic and I don't usually bite but enough is enough with this guy surely.

Because whenever Sunderland build my hopes up, they let me down just as quickly. Like I say though, I hope I’m wrong.

Well IMO whatever the result on Saturday, I’m happy with the season so far and I like the direction which Parkinson is taking us at the moment.

1 goal conceded in 6 games shows that we will be a force to be reckoned with this season.

If we had an Adequate striker, it would have been 6 wins from 6, and some of those games by a considerable margin.

If we get 3 points on Saturday, i will strongly believe that we will finish in the top 2 this season. Even if we get beat, I still think we will be up there with a big chance.

Quite a balanced view from Portsmouth.

"Phil Parkinson's men haven't been prolific in the final third, netting only seven goals, but defensively they've been magnificent.

Incredibly, they have conceded just once and that wasn't from open play.

It wasn't even mustered from a corner or a free-kick, either.

It was from the penalty spot in a 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers on the opening day of the season."

Wyke didn't score, he never got even the faintest of touches, it was an own goal.

Their biggest game of the season, know a couple of pompey lads and it’s all they’ve been talking about for weeks.
