The relationship you have with this club is like a marriage. Sometimes, it's good then you have a rocky patch and fall out of love with it but when it's good and you have days like this you realise why you are together. I'm absolutely gutted I wasn't there today and that I can't get to the matches as much as I wasn't because of my job but this club is a big part of me so much so now that the missus says she now supports the club and the grandson wants to go to another game

I honestly thought that he might have ****ed it up with that deft touch but what a finish it was in the end

    Cheers for the precision Smug.

I don't normally bother with the full 90 but will be on it tomorrow :1980_boogie_down:

    Great performance.

Gooch or Ballard MOTM for me. Stewart makes a massive difference

good game i thought almost ruined by their goal, just shows how our luck has been.

patto needed only once really but was there, defence were up to it, midfield moved the ball fast and strikers got a goal each...no bad marks for anyone.

some excellent football from roberts and amad early in the game but they seemed much better marked as the game wore on with gooch joining in, neil had a good game and really looked good when playing forward.

anyway, MotM goes to onien, he just got in front of everything, got tackles in and played some damn good balls out of defence.

For what its worth, in an ideal scenario my back 4 would be
O/9 / Ballard /Batth / Hume , with Simms and Stewart up front just leaves 4 men in mid-field for Tony to sort, only Amad is a shoe in, the rest are up for grabs

Big shout mate but no Cirkin, Alese. With the squad we have I do not envy TM trying to keep everybody happy. Injuries have probably helped him.

    As they say...

A win is a win is a win!

Scored from a free kick... Next a corner please

Quite a lot of good performances, 09, Ballad, Gooch

    Clarke and Amad also..

Having Stewart and Simms as twin strikers works for me.

I also think Gooch was magnificent today and when fit deserve the chance to continue at right back.

    Great “problems” to have.

And that’s before even talking about Hume or Huggins

Looks like no Batth, Cirkin, Alese or Gooch for the next game so think we may well end up with Huggins at left back and Hume at right back with Ballard and O’Nien in the middle. Will be a great opportunity for them both.

unless of course he moves Wright in at center back and O’Nien to full back. I wouldn’t do this personally.

I reckon we will go 3412 with wright onien ballard at the back.

I love that onien has versatility but id love him to focus on being a CB as i believe thats his best position and is turning into a top championship CB

Finished today with 3 at the back. Wouldn't be too fussed if he started with that tbh while we've got injury problems

At least we have now scored from a set piece.
A pity it was their set piece but Stewart gave Patto no chance.
