Frightening things, big crowds.Correct, my mate came running back up the steps chased by thousands, he almost choked on his meat pie.

Sunderland supporters have voted for Jobe as their Player of the Month for August, sponsored by Serios Group.
The 17-year-old started all four league games in his first month at the Club playing a prominent role in the side.
His most memorable outing was scoring twice in the Lads' 2-1 win against Rotherham United which handed Tony Mowbray's men their first victory of the Sky Bet Championship season.
The midfielder won over 43% of the votes, beating Dan Neil, Luke O'Nien and Patrick Roberts, who were also nominated for the award.
Congratulations, Jobe !

Jude Bellingham's Instagram reaction to brother Jobe's Sunderland award
August has been an excellent month for Bellingham brothers Jude and Jobe.

Jobe Bellingham has enjoyed a promising start to life at Sunderland.
The attacking midfielder has started each of the Black Cats opening five Championship games under head coach Tony Mowbray following his summer move from Birmingham City.
The 17-year-old England under-19s captain turned match-winner for Sunderland during the clash against Rotherham United at the Stadium of Light, netting two goals during the 2-1 win to hand the Black Cats their first three points of the season.
Jobe's good start to his time at the Stadium of Light earned the player Sunderland's Player of the Month award for August, with brother Jude Bellingham earning the same trinket in Spain for Real Madrid after his blistering start to his La Liga career.
Taking to Instagram, Jude posted a show of support for younger brother, Jobe, reposting Sunderland's announcement of the August Player of the Month award and adding three clapping emojis.
Speaking about having been deployed as a number nine by head coach Mowbray in recent games, Jobe stated: “Wherever he asks me to play I’m going to play so I don’t mind. I used to play there quite a lot as a kid, in fact all of the time to be honest.
“It’s a different challenge isn’t it. You have to adapt to the game and do whatever the game is asking you to do. That’s what the best teams do and I think that we did that and the best players do that.
“I thought that I did quite well, but we’ll see. I don’t really fancy playing regularly as a number nine.”
Not sure about that Sandy, but the crack was that Monty couldn't see the edge of his box without contact lenses, hence my usernameThe crack was that the only reason we lost that game was because Monty lost a contact lense. Did that really happen?
Monty always struggled with anything 25 yards+.Not sure about that Sandy, but the crack was that Monty couldn't see the edge of his box without contact lenses, hence my username
If I remember correctly Cumbrian, including a few of Charlie Hurley's back passesMonty always struggled with anything 25 yards+.
He is only 17. I personally think he speaks brilliantly, especially for a kid of his age, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.Strange last sentence from Jobe there.
You wouldn’t normally hear a player say he doesn’t fancy playing a certain position regularly.
To me that says 1 of 2 things.
He’s either a bit naive and inexperienced in how to talk in the football world. Or it’s arrogance.
I hope it’s the 1st one.

Sharkey was part of the 63/4 promotion side, Didn't Neil Martin come later than that?
Remember him scoring 2 headers up at Syd James's in a 3-0 win mid sixties?
Yes I can recall him scoring a hat trick all from 20-25 yards at Roker , I think it was a league cup game . In the FA cup tie at Old Trafford he took a heavy knock though I don’t know whether he lost his contact lens or not , in my opinion he was rushed up back on to his feet and appeared to be still dazed when play resumed as their was only two or three minutes to go . A great victory snatched away !Ask Ivor Allchurch!
Brings back some memories thatParticularly those headed ones!![]()

I think its easy to say that but he was part of a partnership with Amad and contributed greatly to the team along with Hume so statistically he may not look great but his overall contribution last season was excellent and should not be easily overlooked IMO.You’re right mate he is a great dribbler but being able to dribble isn’t everything, end product is just as important. Jed Wallace can’t really dribble, isn’t as easy on the eye as Roberts but he’s managed an average of 16GA every season for the 4 years at this level, which is more than Roberts last season which was the only productive season he’s ever had.
He’s a decent player at this level but he’s not as good as some of our fans make out and is definitely replaceable.

Hopefully we’ll see/hear a bit more of/from the new boys today.
Glad they got him some air max 90s to fit in the with the local area
