It’s one of the reasons I’ve been irritated at Speakman. Because you have to get the relationship right even if there are disagreements on the decisions and it feels like it isn’t. Mowbray and his team get the side playing top football, bold football, largely with good organisation. We are lovely to watch. I rate him. Not sure why others don’t. Of course we are also recruiting well. I hope they can keep their **** together. Personally I’d have Mowbray for longer though of course like players there is always better out there we don’t know of.

Said similar the other day and apparently it was the stupidest post in history of 606 according to one poster (on ignore now) <doh>

Harte got the blame for the whole story, but it doesn't actually make sense that it was him.

The story suggested that we only paid £750k for Clarke and that we'd promised to sell him for £10m. Either those things are both true (which I don't believe) or the "source" was never Harte as he would know the facts.

He's another of these 'talk like Pep, dress like Pep, think I am Pep' managers imo.

Because he's young people think he's modern thinking and progressive, he isn't. He plays no differently to a dozen other managers who think possession is 9/10ths of the game. Mowbray may as well of had circus music played over the tannoy when Martin was making tactical changes ...

.... Mowbray even brought a couple of kids on to put a big red nose on him to match his clownshoes <laugh>

he spent the 90 minutes complaining to the fourth official as well.

Watching him walk over the the away fans before kick off and giving it the big "all about me" licks reminded me of Lee Johnson

Watching his team get schooled and spanked 0-5 did as well :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Honestly think Chris Rigg will sign a pro deal. He seems very mature for his age!

It was great to see the hug with 09 at the end aswell as it looks like he is going out of his way to look after the lad but its clear all the rest were over the moon for the lad. But he was also chuffed to bits and clearly emotional in his interview with the clubs media team.

He just seems happy here now. Can see him signing a 3 or 4 year deal on his 17th.

a 4 year deal would only take him to 21 years old. Mental. Could easily keep developing and then move for a big fee during that time

I said early in the transfer window my biggest fear was losing Speakman. That will still be my biggest fear in January. Cannot see how anybody can knock the bloke for the talent he has brought to us.

Losing him and Stuart Harvey would be disastrous for us.

Hopefully he's a football purist and prefers to build his own masterpiece.

hahaha wrong move sunshine

Not for his bank account...

I think we have unrealistic expectations of footballers. If my employer was paying me the absolute most I could expect to get I personally wouldn't care less if they were the best at what they do. This isn't a Jordan Henderson situation... he wasn't set for life already. He is now...most likely. Fair play to him. He did his absolute best for us while he was here...no complaints from me.

This. I don't understand the animosity towards Rossco, always did his best for us. Plus, yesterday was a one-off, over the course of the season Saints are still more likely than us to get promoted, realistically
