Tony’s mood hasn’t half improved since before the match. I was in corporate today and had a few words during the dressing room as he happened to be there on the tour pre match and he didn’t seem particularly happy with the business done at all, basically saying it is what it is and he just has to get on with the job, seemed canny pissed off tbh. Anyway seemed a lot happier in the post match interviews.
He's bound to be happier after the match, we won 5-0

Yeh I can imagine Seelt plays, and Triantis if not called up to international? Probably Huggins as well

I reckon they'd want to get a week of training and fitness tests etc done with the other two lads before they throw them in to a game.

Nixons stories today, but I can’t get beyond the paywall, is we just missed out on an “argie coup”, I’m assuming that’s a player and not tried to overthrow a military junta, and Man Utd pulled out of trying to sign rigg on deadline day, assuming again it’s our rigg, anybody got the account can tell us.

Benjamin rollheiser, winger for estudiantes

From what I've seen thats because Birmingham are idiots though :D

Genuinely think its not beyond the realms of possibility we are getting £15m+ bids for him from German clubs in the summer
Does he need a pro deal first? I know bugger all about it

Bellingham had signed a pro deal so we paid £3m because that's what Birmingham were willing to accept.

Chris Rigg doesn't have a pro deal as he cant until he's 17. Until then clubs can negotiate with us still and we can accept or reject deals as we like. However Rigg can also decide to leave us and sign a pro deal with them when he's 17. At that point we can try to negotiate a fee with them. If we can't agree, a tribunal will decide.

The tribunal take lots of things into account - and league goals would certainly help push that up. This is what happened to Okoronkwo who went to Everton I believe. Think we got about £1m for him?!?

Hopefully it doesn't come to this and he signs a pro deal.

It's why the news Tom Watson has signed a pro deal on Friday was brilliant. As top prem clubs were sniffing around him as well.

Honestly think Chris Rigg will sign a pro deal. He seems very mature for his age!

It was great to see the hug with 09 at the end aswell as it looks like he is going out of his way to look after the lad but its clear all the rest were over the moon for the lad. But he was also chuffed to bits and clearly emotional in his interview with the clubs media team.

He just seems happy here now. Can see him signing a 3 or 4 year deal on his 17th.

Lets hope so....if he does & develops for couple of years hopefully sees load more not jump ship as kids & recognise were the place to be

Similarly with Jobe...were then 100% the place for kids to come

Think it was suggested Jobe had a release clause of 3m which we hit, madness to have put that in seeing what hes brother went on to do.... equally it could have been Jobe*s agent who insisted on the 3m clause... possibly as Birmingham were all over at the time & didnt want Jobe stuck & held to ransom
