Wouldn't surprise me if Southampton realises Stewart won't be fully fit until the next transfer window opens and decided to wait and sign him for a fraction of the amount in January.

Fair enough, but I would bet not. Height isnt a big deal, not when you look at all the big lads around him. Pace exposes him a but at full back, but not so much in the middle. Time will tell I suppose, but I bet he is doubling down now determined to keep a starting place, just that type of lad.
