Haven't seen anything myself, searched for it. But if it's true, it's one I understand TBF

He's been a great player for the club, great attitude and brilliant versitality. Sad to see him leave, but I understand that he wants to play football and may see himself down the pecking order here at the moment.

Personally I think we're going to miss him, but fair play and good luck to the lad.

Gooch is the one that makes little sense. Batth in nearly 33 and Pritch spends half his life on the treatment table, but Gooch is only 27, covers a variety of positions and has never give less than 100%. Surely he was worth another year or 2? Especially when we've just given a 4 year deal to a lad who is a year older than him!

Maybe Mowbray just doesn't rate him. Otherwise, it's baffling

For me I understand it. Where is he ? 3rd choice? 2nd choice at best ?

What is his starting place, ahead of who ?

Lad wants to play football, can we give that to him ? I'm not sure we can.

Emotionally I'm gutted he's leaving, but pragmatically? I understand it.

Agreed mate. As you say, baffling. If, god forbid, Hume or Cirkin gets injured we're left with Huggins who's made of Quavers himself ffs.
