It's a tough call and no way to be sure until max intensity is applied in game situation. Have to consider his height too, that can effect recover and reoccurring injury possibility.

There has been research into the recovery and level of performance once recovered and it's about 1 in 5 don't come back and perform with same intensity / same level.

Have to take into account his grade 3 ruptured Quad too though, that's also a monster injury that could go at any point.

Overall, contractually, his injury record and other factors, this is why I have said for a long time he would leave this window. The second injury screwed a contract signing.

Reading this sound like the club had there doubts after his second injury last season and were happy to sell along as a decent bid came in?

I'm disappointed to see him go, if he never gets back to his best it will soften the blow.
