Letting his versatility go is a slight issue for me. He's great for squad composition and can play anywhere but if we get to the levels we hope to be then he won't be getting much game time so harsh to keep him around.

We have no cover at RB. Yet anyway. Should have stayed for me .

Club probably seen the wages he was on and that was the end of the road. Shame.

I’d agree with this. I don’t massively rate Gooch but he’s a cracking option in the squad, can play all over the place. Will we even get £1million for him?
