What I was kind of getting at with my original post, and Confucius has alluded to aswell is if this to be believed then our next signing is going to be another defender, of which we are covered quite well, will command a fee etc. And we're probably starting the season with one striker.
We'll end up with a squad of about 40, with only one available striker!

We might have striker 99% sorted but this deal got sorted first. No sweat. Chill

I think we've got Kyril to thank for that. I am sure he's well aware of the french league and has many contacts with Marseille. You always see him with top french players and he probabaly has links with french scouts/agents. I may be wrong though :emoticon-0140-rofl: @Prehab26 would know more probably.

He’s our star player and our best player and normally clubs use their best players for PR and have them plastered all over their social media. Yet Clarke has barely appeared in so much as a photo on ours since before the US trip.

Hopefully/probably it means nothing but it seems a little odd.

My paranoia tops your paranoia marra... watching Clarke in USA training session he circled round a couple of players and motioned to help Jobe to his feet. Got the impression Jobe blanked him rather than was knackered and couldn't walk <laugh>

Ha ha! I’d found comfort in that clip as it showed how integrated Clarke still was but now you’ve put a different complexion on it…..we’re doomed!
