I think you will note I have already said I have nothing against it nor did I say we weren’t taking to anyone else. I think the word prioritise sticks out in my post.Which we are looking at. Just because we are going for a rb, doesn't mean we are not pushing other deals through
It is. Very much so. Hence why the clubs policy is fees spent on 24 and under.
We signed Stewart at age 24 man.
I'm sure our search for a forward will not be put on the back burner mate, while we target other positions. Cannon seems the likely one going off rumoursI think you will note I have already said I have nothing against it nor did I say we weren’t taking to anyone else. Again I have already said I have nothing against it. But if you are prioritising something then by definition it’s most important. You know top of your list. You can work on more than one deal at once, if this has progressed quicker than a forward deal that doesn’t mean we have prioritised it
Yes, especially one that can play both sides. Hume is quality, Huggins can’t be relied upon and i think the club see him as a left back as did Leeds, Gooch is OK but would like to see him upgraded, then on the otherside we have Cirkin and Alese who both missed a lot of games last season. So you think we need another right back?
I’m sure it won’t Jarca, people are rightly nervous over the striker situation though.I'm sure our search for a forward will not be put on the back burner mate, while we target other positions. Cannon seems the likely one going off rumours
But like i said, if this deal has happened quicker than another it does not mean it was the priority. If there is an opportunity to upgrade the squad you take it you don’t wait around to get a different deal doneAgain I have already said I have nothing against it. Didn’t help that our new forward picked up a knock mateI’m sure it won’t Jarca, people are rightly nervous over the striker situation though.

Cirkin and Huggins for the left, Hume and Dagba for the right, Gooch gone and Alese back to CB.So,we have Hume,Huggins,Gooch,Cirkin and Alese (injury,I know)...to cover 2 full back positions, together with O9,who has played in both.
How big do you want the squad to be,ffs.
2 months out is hardly a knock mind.Didn’t help that our new forward picked up a knock mate
You also can’t just overload with defenders because they are availableBut like i said, if this deal has happened quicker than another it does not mean it was the priority. If there is an opportunity to upgrade the squad you take it you don’t wait around to get a different deal done

Yeah unforeseenDidn’t help that our new forward picked up a knock mate
I see his future there too so often he naturally drifts there in game anyway, good on the ball great ball winner he has all the tools imoHuge if true. Also, Hume will move to CDM long term. Looks like might be sooner rather than later

What I was kind of getting at with my original post, and Confucius has alluded to aswell is if this to be believed then our next signing is going to be another defender, of which we are covered quite well, will command a fee etc. And we're probably starting the season with one striker.
We'll end up with a squad of about 40, with only one available striker!
Linked with someone who would arguably be the best RB in the league and people aren’t happy because we’ve already got Gooch
Sceptical for that reason alone but would be an incredible signing if it happened.
