Well from what I've seen of Luton , they are in for a seriously tough time next season. Any deal a player signs there will have a sharp relagation clause in it and he can expect it to be activated.

If that player is Stewart, then he would be going there trying to catch up in fitness, get one chance every three games, and would be highly unlikely to attract a better bid.

It would be a bad move for him, but a bad move for him was sitting here on his contract all season, he has all that to make up now, and with a very bad injury not resolved yet.

Worth adding that much of their revenue of the next few years is going to help with the planned new stadium. They won't be paying high wages.

Really doubt he'll go there, but I've been sure for a long time he'll go somewhere. Our priority is us though not him. So we should be getting on with our own plans.

Do we have a striker in our under 23s who could possibly step up next season?
Can't say I know a lot about the under 23s but seen gardiner signed a new deal but doesn't seem to be mentioned much.

Wondering if there was any we could promote from within rather than buying.

Gardiner scored a few goals for the 21s last season so I reckon he might be loaned out tbh. They also signed a Ukrainian striker, Tuterov, but not sure how much we will see of him at first team level. He will take time to settle I think.
