Concern from me this season. Whilst I'm as ambitious at the next person, we do have to remember that it's our 2nd season in the league. if we end up mod table I'll be disappointed but if still see us as making progress as long as we're still improving the infrastructure and making signing

That wouldn’t really be positive progression though.

I doubt we'd be loaning a lad like Warrington. Only a year left on his deal and I doubt he'd go straight into the team.

If we do get him it'll be a perm for a minimal fee like Anderson and Ekwah
Just what I was told pal. Could give him a new deal before loaning .. who knows. Or maybe a permanent. Or maybe just one of many on a list

Bordeaux confirmed to be staying in Ligue 2 and Josh Maja now available on a free.

We would be silly not to try and do something here in my opinion.

I don’t know all the rules etc. but would makes sense to limit to only going to academies within a certain distance of home (or nearest cat 1). Uprooting whole families to go to say Man City academy or separating them from their families as boarders just seems wrong to me.
Makes you wonder who's interests are really been looked after by the parents.
Surely they can see where they are going to be better off in the way of their child's future development, how many kinds actually come through the ranks to go on and play for Man City.
They are buying the best players in the world so unless your son is the new Messi your wasting your time

Watched him a few times since hes moved and he didn't impress me at all

Doesnt look like hes improved his movement, link up or hold up play since being over there.

I wouldnt be against signing him as theres def a player in there, his finishing is class but i reckon theres better out there

It used to be the case, not sure about now, that under 12s had to live within an hours drive. 13s to 16s 90 mins. They were enforced too. I coached an 11 year old that was selected by a prem (at the time) academy but was deemed to live 70 mins away so it was not done.
