Be nice to get a Friday announcement to go with this
Welcome on board marra, any insights and rumours are more than welcome. Hopefully Jobe is our next signing in the next week or two. Looking forward to next season already...Hello lads, first time poster long time lurker.
Done some looking this morning and I think both Jude and Jobe have the same agent, their Dad. Obviously Jude is in the middle of a £100million transfer so I think that might be the hold up on the Jobe deal.
First of a few over the next week or so imo.
Beautiful British Name. I hereby christen thee......Nick.
Going to be an interesting summer. Think it's no coincidence we are buying/targeting bigger lads, but I hope we don't ignore the need for smaller, technical players.
Really hoping we see more of Lihadji with a full pre-season under his belt, not to mention getting all the injured lads back and keeping them fit.
I know Evans is out until the New Year potentially, but are all the other lads expected back 1st day of pre-season? Maybe Roscoe a couple of weeks behind?
Selfishly, I'd like 2 strikers even if one is a young un like Leaburn at Charlton.I think our current best Xl is big enough to be honest.
Hume/Ballard/Bathh/Cirkin are all capable in the air, Ekwah and Stewart both massive. The problem was we were playing with 1 or 2 of them in the squad for the best part of 2 months. The main thing is having the cover - Alese, Triantis, O’nein, hopefully another versatile full back because Huggins is never fit and another striker will be enough.

I'm not connived Stewart can stay fit - feels like 2021/2 season was the anomaly - he's had a few injuries over his career. We cannot be left without strikers again - you can forgive it once, but not twice
Yeah, when he came on at Luton and his first touch was to absolutely dump his man with a shimmy, I thought straight away ‘maybe a wide man’
I think we have signed a couple that folk don’t realise how big a coup they were, Ba is one, massively rated in France, and Lihadj is another, very well known as a youngster (scout will back up).
Some of the finds and signings have been immense potentially and aren’t yet being appreciated.
Big year for some of these, make your mark lads.

Northern echo reckon semedo is a matter of time and documentation and jobe will sign once back from England
I always take what Scott Wilson writes with a massive pinch of salt mindhttps://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...gning-australian-defender-nectarios-triantis/
Bellingham is set to join the Black Cats from Birmingham City, with the framework for a deal worth around £3m already in place. While there have been suggestions in recent days that the two clubs are still some way apart in their valuation of the 17-year-old, who is the younger brother of England international Jude, it is understood that a deal is effectively agreed.
Bellingham attended the Stadium of Light last month to watch the second leg of Sunderland’s play-off semi-final with Luton Town, but is currently in Portugal with the England Under-18s squad preparing for the International Tournament of Lisbon that begins tomorrow.
Bellingham, who skippered England Under-18s in their most recent outing in March, is set to feature in matches against Norway, Australia and Portugal, and should be confirmed as a Sunderland player once his international duties are at an end.
Talks with Semedo have been similarly positive, with the 19-year-old striker close to sealing a move to the Stadium of Light.
Provided he is able to secure the necessary documentation needed to play in England, Semedo will join the Black Cats as a free agent following his release from Benfica, where he spent last season playing for the Portuguese club’s B team.
