yeh mate I’m going big. Permanent. 10 year deal.

What I like best about this, is that we appear to have completely manufactured a rumour.

One that I now fully believe and consider at least reasonable, if not likely.

Something involving bonuses and buy back clauses that would at least leave him even if we didn't go up soon enough.

A few more posts and will be picked up by the press soon.

He left PSG because he wanted game time and fair play to the lad if he’s done the same here. He thinks he’s good enough to play every week, and I agree with him to be honest. He’s never really been given a fair chance it’s a few starts here or there, but Neil was never going to be dropped to fit him in the team in his preferred role.

His counterpart Xavi Simons left PSG at the same time and went to PSV - the pair of them were meant to be head and shoulders above the rest of the B team. He’s been playing every week and has taken the Dutch golden boot, qualified for Europe again etc so Michut could well be thinking why am I wasting my time here…

Be playing at a very high level in the next few years imo.

Michut is a good player and I'm a bit disappointed he didn't sign but I wonder what type of football he wants to be involved with and what position he sees himself as.

The league cup game(s) will be ideal for players like Bellingham. Might get a canny crowd if it’s at home.
He isnt coming here to play league cup games mate. He will be in the first team squad and will be expecting 20 plus starts. I reckon he might play as the 10 next season for us, shared with Embo, and we will allow Pritch to move on.

I get the impression he wants to be in a team where the objective is “give the ball to Michut”. Whereas here it was very much get the ball up the pitch with short passes as quick as possible

He possibly niaively thought that coming to a championship club would make him star player and I think he may have had a wake up call.

I reckon we might go back in for Joffy for the 10 role. I think he will be class behind a proper no9. And fully fit of course.

I feel terrible because I completely forgot about Embo

Looking at this post with Troy Deeney who is in his mid thirties.....our management in the past would be more interested in someone his age than a young potential start Jobe.....how far this club has come since KLD is running the ship....amazing what a turnaround...

Just allow yourselves to close your eyes and imagine this scenario.

  • We went to United and said we want Amad on loan again
  • United said no they want to loan him to a top league or sell him
  • We’ve asked them to name their price
  • They’ve told us they’ll do a deal at a lower price than they paid but with a buy back clause and substantial sell on percentage. This allows them to recoup their investment eventually whilst also freeing up funds for ETH’s rebuild this summer
  • We’ve gone away to think about it and worked out if we can afford the capital investment to buy him
  • Donald had said he can’t afford his 9% so has sold up
  • KLD and sartori now freed up to make the bid
  • This evening Romano tweets “I understand Man Utd have agreed a fee with Sunderland for the permanent transfer of Amad Diallo”

now wake up.

sorry lads but it was fun for a bit :D
Brilliant. Did you, use to write for Mills & Boon
