But there was interest from Fulham due to his performance in the FA Cup, as I said if he wanted to join then I'd sign him.

If that is our budget that wouldn’t leave enough budget, we need 2 strikers, a centre half probably a defensive midfielder.

As I say I wouldn’t be using 17-25% of the budget on someone who doesn’t start and is similar ages to the players ahead of him.

Even if we did need all those players they wouldn't be being signed for the first team and therefore we'd be looking at cheaper options.

Quality over quantity is what we need in the next transfer window and Michut for 2 or 3 mil is a great buy.

No way Matete would be above him in the pecking order, he could barely get a game in League One last season. Wouldn't be surprised if we flog him in the summer

I named 4 players and they all have to be quality not future prospects especially given we don’t know when Ross, Corey and Batth will be back

Also, not signing Michut might help us to bring in someone like this Alvarez.

Aravena looks a good prospect, seems to have good movement and always gets himself into the box. Composed finisher as well and showed good pace in the highlights I watched. He is a good passer and has good close control, manipulates the ball really well in 1vs1 situations. He needs to improve his pressing from what I saw as he struggles to regain possession for his team when pressing.

This lad would be a cracking back up to Clarke with the option as a 3rd CF as well. We need another right footed winger and I think this lad would be ideal
