Well, if there has been a falling out it needs to be resolved quickly. We can't be arsing about. If they want rid of Mowbray, then get rid, get your man in, and live or die by the decision. Waiting for things to sour in the stands is storing up trouble if we end up with another poisonous atmosphere and a bunch of young kids playing in it.
100% that's the problem with this when it's going well no better place to
For me the problems started at the end of last season with the club Albeit ready to ditch Mowbray for a different coach. That scenario seems not to have been addressed since the end of May. Now three months later it's coming to the fore again, with Mowbray going on (rightly so) like he did at the end of his time with Blackburn Rovers. One thing that needs to be addressed and quickly is the 2 x CF and DM positions and Mowbrays future.
only way we get two is if Stewart goes

if he stays that 5 strikers

personally think 4 is plenty

and i know he's trying to push the recruitment but saying what he said last night could of waited any selling club seeing that
could be tempted to add abit extra on to price, sometimes thing are best to be said behind closed doors, bang the drum when the window is shut, but that's just my opinion

We only have two strikers in the club at the moment don't we? Ross and Heimer

Then Speakman and KLD will get their preferred "young foreign coach" appointment, which will invariably go wrong and we'll bring in a fire fighter to keep us up. Rinse and repeat

Does anyone get the feeling that Mowbray was only ever supposed to be a stop gap, but his success has put Speakman on the back foot? Had we got rid in the summer there would have been uproar and now they are waiting to fall on his own sword?
100% Mowbray was brought in as a stop gap, the problem is he did a much better job than they were expecting.
I think the plan was always to replace him in the summer, but fan backlash stopped them doing so.

Which brings us to now, to me it doesn't look like the owners are committed to giving TM what he wants. Are they hoping he walks?

Mate we have 2. Hemir and Stewart. That's it. Let's not start to use players with no experience who mostly play out wide as a championship ready striker.

Personally reckon Ba needs a loan.

He looked massively off pace in pre-season, and didn't look great last night either.

Cant you not sign pre contracts with English clubs if your contract ends at the end of the season then? I think you're wrong on foreign clubs or any club once your contract has run out.
in january i think it's and foreign club he can open talks with after his contract has ran out anyone, not saying it won't happen behind closed doors but don't think he can sign a pre contract with any english club until it's ran out

we don't we have 3 you keep forgetting the other striker mayenda that has come in experience or not

so at the moment we have

stewert
hemir
mayenda

who are all classed as first team strikers now

What’s the point of signing him then? I’m starting to think too many of these “wonderkid” signings aren’t going to get a chance and it’s hampering us because that money could be spent on someone who’s going to be a first team player.

I think Bellingham looks a prospect but do we really need him? Does he fit how we play? Or are we just signing players because we think they’ll have sell on value. We have an abundance of midfielders.

That’s fine when you’re Chelsea/City and you don’t actually need the players but every player is vital for us.

Stewart - injured for next 2 months (and last 6 months)
Hemir - looks miles off, a lot to ask a 19yo who has never played senior football
Mayenda - also injured, but the Head Coach has already said he's "months away" from being ready

We need strikers urgently

I think Bellingham will be fine. Showed glimpses of absolute quality. I think it remains clear, and TM will be totally aware, that you need a balance of experience and youth. Don't think any one on their own will get you promoted. It's OK buying young talent to sell on for profit but we need to be pushing for promotion. Problem is the squad won't stay together if we don't get promoted. The better players will be off.

If we have 5, then Hemir and Mayenda can be allowed to develop without the pressure of leading the line. They can play cup games, get cameo appearances off the bench or maybe a lower league loan. Not saying these kids aren't good players, but they aren't ready yet.

Think it was Keane said a lot of the man utd players that came through the youth team used agents linked with the PFA and he said he could deal with them all day as they were only interested in the players welfare

Yep. PFA are very good. Amazed more players don't use them. I imagine these other agents, many of them blatantly on the make just use the snake oil patter and convince the player, sometimes his family, to go with them.

At the very top level, I can see the benefit of having a high level agent, but we will never operate there.

For a good example of the type of talentless chancer acting as an agent look no further than the disgusting Margaret Byrne. If ever there was an individual who knew how to fleece, there it was
