Not if 3 -4 mill gets you a decent striker you can sell for more

But who is it going to get us whilst we’re still undecided with Stewart? Whilst he’s at the club he’s our first choice striker and will go straight back into the Xl. If they’re going to f**k around with his contract and leave it last minute then they need a contingency plan and loaning a striker proven at this level who fits our style perfectly for a poxy £1m is a no brainer.

To be

To be fair we have been discussing contracts with Stewart since we got promotion. It made sense to delay it while we waited to know which division we were in

Stewart cost next to nowt and isn’t harry kane. For a bit more we might get better. We owe him nowt. Make him compete. A million on a loan seems a lot. I agree he’d be good for us but we may fancy our chances at better value. Him being ready to roll right now is a positive like.

He has been seen down the seafront twice in the last month.
Don't quote me on this but I was told, we will not pay the loan fee.
If this is true and I'm trying to find out, if it's right I will be SHOCKED.
So could that have actually been him I saw in Anthony Gordon's G Wagon a week or so ago, just think if he was up here it's possible he would stop with him as they would have come through together at Everton

There is no guarantee of anything, he might turn out to be good or he might not

8 goals from open play in less than half a season for the leagues 3rd lowest scorers and a really poor team going forward in general.. there’s no guarantee that anyone we sign will do anything if that’s the case.

According to the Evening Standard, he is in "advanced talks" over a move to Leicester, just days after playing for Sunderland under-21s on trial

But nothing else has come from that

He could be in advanced talks with a few clubs to be fair
