I think our other striker will be a premier league loan, could be cannon but wary about dealing with Everton again after simms

He'd had a trial at Sheffield United before coming to us. It might be that we didn't rate him that highly, as you say, or that he's no better than what we already have or are bringing in. Or maybe Leicester have jumped in with a much better offer we can't match. Who knows.

Checking on how he's performed in his two stints back in England since leaving us, my guess is he may not be worth the kind of deals he's after, or he just isn't up to playing at EPL/Championship level. He's had 15 games in both the Premier League and EFL and only 4 goals, 9 goals in 47 matches in Ligue 1, he's also not been that regular in the Bordeaux team until last season, which was in ligue 2 and his most prolific recently. I know the loans to Fulham and Stoke were to put him in the shop window for sales, as Bordeaux were badly affected by a TV rights deal collapse, but neither were successful and he was sent back. It's why I certainly wouldn't be keen on him coming back.

He's spending money and improving the club/team whilst he does it. This is compared to the shyster asset strippers who bought the club with it's own money, and the Texan Billionaire who had no idea how to spend money

I know which model I prefer. If KLD sells us in 5 years time for a massive profit, leaving us as an established, well run PL team then I will have absolutely no complaints

had a bloke recently giving it the 'what's the point of having a rich owner who does not want to spend?'...i did try to point out why would anyone just throw millions and millions into the job when there is a better way to do things (short tried the first way and lost loads) and no one can say that KLD has not improved the club 10 fold, hopefully we will see the behind the scenes work improve now.

would love to see those complaining win the euro lotto and blow every penny trying to throw it all on making some lower league club into a premier outfit, then they might just realise...but then again, they would be sat begging with a sign saying 'at least i give it a go'.

Has his chance with us. Agent moved him and he went along with it. Should have showed loyalty. As an aside, he went missing for large parts of games and would pop up with a scuffed shot that went in. I thought his goal tally flatterer his performances.

Imagine if KLD, a young owner was pissing money up the wall recklessly and buying whoever looked good at that moment. We’d be besides ourselves with anxiety.

As it is he’s actually doing things calmly and serenely which belies his years and experience !

I was only going what was on the stats site I use and reports of him being a striker.

He was in the team to score goals and that’s what he did. I think you’re doing him a disservice regarding his ability to finish.

Not suggesting we sign him but he clearly has the ability in front of goal when he’s in the right team.

He and his team have developed a strategy which certainly doesn't involve any reckless moves. There are those among us who are beside themselves with anxiety regardless. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Aye, but we all know Vauxie (Bobs alter ego) is a fecking ijit. He only pops up when Bob wants him to.
