he has slimmed down a lot, and his goal record for United was good.
Especially when you take into account that he played for one of the gimpest United teams of the last 30 years.![]()
Him being the biggest gimp of them all, apart from maybe Sanchez.

He averaged more or less a goal every other game with United.Him being the biggest gimp of them all, apart from maybe Sanchez.

His goal to games ration is better than Ole's, Teddy Sheringhams, Andy Cole, and pretty much the same as Dwight Yorke's.
And this is just at United mind, not counting his tallys at Everton or Inter, which were even better

Like I said Gimpest United team for 30 yearsElephant in the room in the Prem and at International level is his goalscoring record against the Top sides ... always able to notch (including multiples) against the lesser lights ...
He's played 58 games against the Big 6 and scored 15 goals
By way of contrast, Jamie Vardy has played 76 games and scored 42 times (also has 10 assists)
You also have to factor in that Vardy's goals have come whilst not playing for the big 6 himself ... also read somewhere that Dan James has now equalled Lukaku's tally of goals against the big 6 for United
Now personally, I think Lukaku is at his peak at this moment and he could just lay that ghost to rest ... but it has to be a concern.

Any info on this young lad we've brought in on loan from you?But aren’t chelsea financial doped by Roman?
How the fck does this become about Vardy?![]()
... 'stealthily' ... ... 'stealthily' ...

... but more seriously, if Lukaku improves that record to anywhere close to Vardy, then Chelsea would almost certainly be a shoe-in for the league ...

Broadhead? Scored plenty of goals in the u23’s, only made one first team appearance, so needs competitive game time. It’s anyone’s guess if he will cut it or not.Any info on this young lad we've brought in on loan from you?
Yeah that's the one. I think he'll mainly be back-up for Stewart unless he really impresses when he is handed his chance. We are short of numbers upfront and it's a long season so he'll definitely get game time.Broadhead? He’s really a winger (either flank) who Unsworth moved to CF last season, he really rates him & was pushing him to Ancelotti for the 1st team. It’ll be interesting to see what he can do in L1 tbh, I’ll follow his progress with interest.Yeah that's the one. Arsenal could be willing to offload Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the 31-year-old Gabon striker does not see eye to eye with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta(Guardian)
Yes, Arteta wants him to score in the opposition goal but Aubameyang is intent on scoring in his own.
It's a battle of wills.
either way Ponkie needs to concentrate on his own club instead of ****ing all over Not606 about Kane’s possible departure
Linked with Barca, with Coutinho coming the other way. I’d bite their hands off, he’s done **** all since landing that huge new contract, if he stays he’s odds on to become their Marty Feldman IIArsenal could be willing to offload Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the 31-year-old Gabon striker does not see eye to eye with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta(Guardian)

He had 2 very good seasons in fairness, but last season he was mince. I’d be shocked if the rumours of him not getting on with Arteta aren’t true, as his regular absences and uninterested demeanour speak volumes. The excuse of him being ‘sick’ at the weekend was obvs cover. He’s off.The hype that was around him when Arsenal were buying him. The bloke's been a massive disappointment. Never lived up to expectations.
