What a **** publication......

The very same week that Ronaldo’s move to Manchester was being formalised, news broke of another deeply troubling episode across the city. It transpired that Benjamin Mendy, the Manchester City full-back, had been charged with four counts of rape and one of sexual assault. He has been arrested and is in custody at HMP Altcourse in Merseyside.

Mendy has since been suspended by the club but they were more than happy for the French internationalist to continue playing after he had been charged but before he had been arrested – in other words, when there was no external pressure placed on the club. They were happy for Mendy to contribute to the team, knowing he was the subject of a serious police investigation, when no one was informed enough to object.

Think about that. They knew Mendy was facing multiple charges of rape, and they played him anyway.

I know its nuts, it's almost as if they are presuming innocence instead of guilt, and allowing people due process before destroying their lives, utter madness!

Scotland really is full of limp wristed ****ing ******s these days isnt it. What happened to Trainspotting!?
The author of that piece doesn’t understand the difference between arrested and charged, as he got it the wrong way round ffs.

Yes, for exceptional circumstances, which this isn't. It's utterly standard. Player wants a number that's already been used.
They've never done this for any other player. They're making an exception because it's Man Utd, like Mike Dean on the weekend.

They haven’t though, they literally let Cavani take the 21 vacated by Dan James and Ronaldo took the spare 7.

We haven’t asked if Ronaldo can take an occupied number.

I’m afraid the tears will have to flow hard on this one.

Cavani swapped shirts, yes, but has already played in the 7 shirt this season… this is solely down to money <laugh>

Truth of the matter, they’ll still win **** all this season with Ole at the helm.

Whatever spin you put on it, United never asked if Ronaldo can take the number 7 shirt.

If we sold Martial on deadline day I’m sure there would have been a few players requesting to take his number 9.

Like I said, happy to receive tears.

Think they need to win something now like, if they dont its staggering from Ole. The Utd 11 now is the best theyve had since Fergies days.

I would argue that their current first XI is actually better than the last Fergie team that he won the league with.

Defo. Ole deserves shot if he finishes this season empty handed.
Bit weird giving him a new contract then no? If sacking him in in the plans for the near future.

Hope you win the caraboa cup:bandit:

I think winning things is the plan for the near future, not sacking him.

If he doesn't win things he's not fulfilled his contract, so he therefore gets the boot.

Not that hard to understand mate.

His pay off will be about 56p so i guess it's no big deal really if you bin him off.

This is what always baffles me.

If a manager is sacked for being ****e at his job, why the **** do they now get massive pay offs?

By the same token, if they leave of their own choice to join another club, then that club pays a fee. Not that this would be relevant to Ole, as I doubt any team would want him.
