Ive got no problem with him at all.

Decent journeyman pro. Whats funny is Wurzel fans finding it funny that weve given O Dowda a 3 year deal when youve handed 3 year deal to lets face it an average 30 year old Championship player. You may as well have re signed Korey Smith or Marlon Pack. Both who you could argue are better players.

Except that Naismith was in the Championship team of the season, and in a team that made the play-offs and played nearly every game, yet you signed O'Dowda who has been dreadful and couldn't hold down a regular starting place in a team that spent the whole season in the bottom half of the league (as did you), even above a bunch of kids that were favoured over him. Big difference in my book.
I do agree though that despite the 'facts' above it doesn't mean one will necessarily do better than the other.

Ojo released by the Scousers. Not sure if he's already off elsewhere but if available would we want him back?

His loan spell was fairly solid TBF.

We missed him last season. We had nobody in midfield with pace to make the runs he made for us when he was here. He only played 18 times for Millwall so presumably he was injured.

As expected....

Be interesting to see if Ralls does sign up with us again.
Suppose he's in the best position knowing he can still play the market a little bit longer as he has our offer to fall back on.
I'd assume we've set some kind of deadline for acceptance though as SM will want to know as soon as possible where else he has gaps to fill.

Feel a bit for Vaulks as he hasn't done anything wrong really... Just hasn't quite hit the heights we needed.

Now, how quickly can we get Bale and Rambo signed up??? :emoticon-0103-cool:

All predictable. Agree entirely with those released.

Id also be looking to move on Collins and Phillips.

I expect everyone had read this but just in case.

I'm just going to keep assuming I'll be disappointed whilst secretly hoping for the best :emoticon-0105-wink:

It would be one heck of a signing if we can pull it off. Though I'm pretty sure Spurs fans would be quick to dig up some stories on Bale not saying good morning to Harry Kane as the reason they're not interested in him and why he'd choose a club like Cardiff over their illustrious, huge, successful club!! :emoticon-0136-giggl

I can't see it happening. That said, I didn't think the Bellamy thing would happen. But this is on another level.

He's doing the right thing by taking his time and going on holiday with his family after the Holland game. A chance to kick back, relax, enjoy time with his wife and kids while getting his head straight before deciding on what could be the last move of his excellent career while preparing for the world cup.

He probably knows where he wants to go but both he and whichever club he choses need to get all their ducks in line before the big reveal.

I very much hope he choses us as this will immediately generate a huge hike in season ticket sales and could even result in the reopening of the upper Ninian Stand tier.

Okay he will still need to produce the goods on the field but the immediate uplift for all at the club would be immense.

Well I guess we should never say never. However, like you it seems unlikely. My guess it's a pitch to increase interest in the player with only Boro and MK Dons reported as being vaguely so
If it was a permie signing I could see some merit as a player to develop, but would be concerned if he came on loan as a starting CB.
