Remember "What's My Line"?
That wasn't about fishing at all. Misleading gits.

I remember this Clingo. One of the panelist’s was Cyril Fletcher who was fond of his whisky/whiskey.
Rumour had it that when the barman asked him what he wanted he would say ‘I’ll have a double triple’.

Having had a loan spell at Forest previously I have no doubt he'll be looking to sign for them, especially as it'll be a massive step up from his current club to a European Giant like Forest!! :emoticon-0114-dull:
I've said it before that they both should come home now. They've both had incredible careers and have made loads of Dosh. Time to come back to where they're loved and help build the foundations of a new Cardiff City.

Can't see either of them playing regularly in a typical gruelling Championship season, but that's not the point. The Club needs to regroup and push on with young prospects, but there's no real substitute for experience and ability even if it's been dulled by age.

Their regular day to day involvement at CCFC even with appearances limited by fitness issues would be a huge boost for all at the club. The cost is another matter, but if either or both could accept their value in terms of putting something back into the game rather than taking it out, CCFC should seriously consider going for it.

No new signings announced since 20th May. <yikes>

Come on Morison, pull your finger out. <whistle>

Only 2 months to the season start.

Doesn't he know that new or potential new signings are the oxygen of this thread?
Maybe Daz Purse will feed our addiction with his incomings at U-23 level??

That article did say he was hoping for some new blood soon....

It's been quiet.... A little too quiet for my liking.

Clearly all hell is about to break loose :emoticon-0140-rofl:

They're just dotting Is and crossing Ts on the Bale and Ramsey deals.:1980_boogie_down:

Once that happens, others will be queueing up to join.<cheers>

We'll, I'd say if it's true, and those are the clubs we'd be competing against for his signature then we'd be in with a solid chance as I don't see any of them being particularly more attractive.

Geography may play a part I suppose?

I'd also imagine his wage demands could be pretty high but if we are shipping out our out of contract mob then there may be some half decent wriggle room...

Just compared Gray to Michael Smith of Rotherham who's name has also been bandied about.

Gray has a career record of a goal every 2.5 games compared to Smith's 1 in 4.

In fairness Gray's goals have generally been at a higher level. He seems to score in bunches like 6 in 8 games then a famine before another bunch.

Gray is 6 months older, both 31 this year.

Bearing kind their last clubs and where their careers have taken them, Gray's wages likely to higher.

Both probably good for 2 years, barring injuries, so do we take a punt on Gray's wages?

We will definitely need some experience within the ranks but that experience has to be from an effective player. That's not Gray for me.

Looks like Kristensen will be having a medical at Leeds next week. That's solved our right back issue out. Seems they didn't want to trust Dramah.

Dramah has already said he wants to play games next season. Might put you guys in pole position for a season loan again as he loved it down there.

Be a great little deal for everyone.

I think we'd be delighted to have him back.
