You’s can make of this what you will. Story I heard was the Liverpool media were instructed to cause as much chaos as they could in this window with regards transfers to cause maximum disruption to whoever they could. We’ll see how it pans out, but reading reports now saying Isak feels let down by Liverpool now.

How true stories are I’m not sure but talk of the offer being £55m now and £55m in 12 months time and no add on’s.

Who says he doesn’t want to play for us. The players are all saying it’s his agent got in his head. I’ll take a wild stab at how that’s going to go very soon. He’ll be offered a contract matching what you lot offered (reportedly £250k a week) doubling his wage, and I’m guessing with a new agent.
Maybe. Perhaps buying him a map so that he can find Singapore this time is a good idea.

I can honestly say I’d not want any player playing for my club that doesn’t want to be there.

All your players are **** so it wouldn't make any difference to Sunderland anyway.

We are talking about one of the best strikers in the world.

Yup, he'll be back in training on Tuesday and it will be happy families again.

Liverpool can do one.

The funny thing is they signed Ekishite just so we didn't sign him, now they can't afford their actual target.

Don't be sillly.
I mean ****ing around with a pay £55m now pay £55m next year when it’s been made clear no offer under £150m would even be considered suggests he’s correct, I mean ****ing grealish and rice went for just shy of that….. then there’s the whole £70m deal for Darwin v2.0 <laugh>

Have a feeling this kid will make Darwin look like prime Ian Rush

There are structures to these deals, if we're serious the structure will improve. Testing the waters at the moment.

It's all speculation. No idea how it will all pan out. I still think it would have set you up nicely to improve the team overall.

We went in for Pedro and Ekitike so clearly have money to spend, also heavily linked with scalvini before all this kicked off, so don’t think money (as in transfer fee) is the issue. Our wage structure is the issue. Give Isak a new contract and Bruno, Tonali, Botman etc will be asking why he’s being paid more than twice they are etc.

Yes but add £100M to that kitty and you're taking proper quality which is what we did with VVD and Alisson. It transformed our team.

Let's use that infamous Coutinho money situation. We didn't want to sell him, he was fantastic for us. Off he goes Klopp brings in 2 players for that money and it sets us off on the right track again.

Isak is miles better than Coutinho that's the difference.
