Are you fine with keeping an unhappy player that doesn’t even want to be there playing for you? Seems madness to me. I can honestly say I’d not want any player playing for my club that doesn’t want to be there.
You can pretty much guarantee that every player at most clubs would "not want to be there" if they had a better offer frm a bigger club.
Yeah, I agree. My point still stands and if an offer come in and they made it clear they wanted to leave then they should be sold. We’ve had a few good players express a desire to leave and we’ve let them go. Stewart, Clarke, Watson, Bellingham.
Like I said to Diego, as soon as they express a desire to leave then you get the best price you can for them and let them go.
I know this, you know this, maybe another half a dozen on this entire forum know this…… but **** off coz it doesn’t suit my narrative at the minute
Let’s just watch how this gets ****ing spun in The media over next few days. IF he stays, somehow Liverpool will be the victims in all this. I know this, you know this, and every other ****er in this entire forum bar about 3 know this
I reckon you need to run for the hills, calling them victims is a very touchy subject to a few on here. It never goes down well
From what I've read we're dealing with the tea lady, you haven't got the people employed to deal with this properly.
Wondering if Romano and Ornstein have been invited for tea and biscuits at the embassy as they’ve gone very quiet recently
This might well be correct but is it the right choice for you? I think it's massively complicated. You've got money but can't spend it, you didn't have the infrastructure to sort transfers out properly and you're turning down a huge amount that at least gives you a way in to the transfer market to improve your team. If we don't get Isak it doesn't matter but if you have an Isak that doesn't want to play for you does it really help your situation?
Let's use that infamous Coutinho money situation. We didn't want to sell him, he was fantastic for us. Off he goes Klopp brings in 2 players for that money and it sets us off on the right track again.
Who says he doesn’t want to play for us. The players are all saying it’s his agent got in his head. I’ll take a wild stab at how that’s going to go very soon. He’ll be offered a contract matching what you lot offered (reportedly £250k a week) doubling his wage, and I’m guessing with a new agent.
