I don't think any of us want an Etikite for Isak swap, just right now chances of having both playing for us this season ain't high. Obviously keeping Isak is the priority, but there's still a chance for both, but not a huge chance atm. Liverpool have played this one pretty well.

Liverpool will just keep nudging the price up for the lad Newcastle want, then drop out, let Newcastle win and then take Isak.

He has a release clause though, it won't go higher. We already offered close to it.

seems strange they value him higher than Newcastle want to pay…..:emoticon-0136-giggl
Still doesn’t stop Liverpool going over the Newcastle offer, meaning Newcastle go higher….

but, as you said, he only wants Newcastle, spend the billions and active the clause, don’t be shy, he has his heart set on the toon.

well either he comes or he doesn’t, but Isak will be staying or pushing for a move to Liverpool. Or Newcastle will have both by the end of the window. Think that sums up my skim of the Newcastle board comments.

Welcome

So Mr Ekitike, there are 2 clubs in England that want your services, the one is Newcastle, who have won their first trophy in 60 years, the other Liverpool, one of the most successful clubs in Europe over the last 50 years , what do you think.

" I only want Newcastle'

Yeah right
I can’t let this slide. It was 70 years <laugh>

If Ekitike signs then you know Isak is away.

All I know at that point is Ekitike has signed, we always needed another good striker anyway as Isak was playing too much last season, and looked pretty knackered by the end. Obviously social media will go to **** with stories Isak's gonna be sold if we sign him, but signing Ekitike in no way means we have to sell Isak.

pity that Darwin had already turned down the Saudi offers in Jan and now in this window but that ****er never lets facts interfere with a "story"
If it was true they’d get taken to the cleaners for doing that.

Looks like we in for Xhaka. That would be another very impressive and solid signing.
