but clearly not improved enough to actually get selected for the team in any match that mattered by said manager
exactly
so where was the improvement?
He wasn’t good enough for Pep or he would be playing
Pep couldn’t improve him to the required level. Pep ‘thought’ he could improve him but clearly he couldn’t.
I can guarantee you when he plays for West Ham at best he might be the guy we saw at Leeds, we wont look at him and think…wow he’s the English Rodri
(thanks to Pep)
there is zero evidence he has improvedNot getting into the city side doesn’t mean he hasn’t improved. Starting for Leeds and getting regular games for Man City is a monumental difference.
My point is he will have learnt a lot during his time at City and won’t be worse for it. Even just training with the likes of De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva etc will teach players.
West Ham is a good move for him, fwiw I would have happily took him at Spurs
His hair do has got worse if that's any indication of his talent.there is zero evidence he has improved

Best cheat in the worldPretty much every player who plays Pep says the best manager around. Last post on this because I feel like I’m repeating myself but training and playing under Pep and for the best team in the world for 18 months won’t harm a player.

Pure speculation.
Fact is man's played **** all football for 2 seasons.
But yeh peps magic penis of course
You do have a point - he'd certainly have played much more if he'd gone to Liverpool...
31 appearances for City. Won 5 trophies.
Shaun wright Phillips
Teddy Sheringham had similar time at Man United towards the end of his career, part of the Treble winning team but did not make a huge amount of appearances

What an insane comparison
That is all.
What an insane comparison
That is all.
How many appearances did he make
Was thinking that, cba to even chuck this utter bollocks in the bin.
Other than to say, he scored the ****ing equaliser in the CL final, and also one in the FA Cup final, but didn't contribute much or owt.
