The same Milan press said that Botman was never coming to us over them and that we are a joke. I'm not going to claim he's going to be great as there's so many variables in it but what I'll say with 100 percent certainty is that if he didn't want to come then Howe wouldn't have him. Howe would prefer to have Jeff Hendrick than someone upsetting the morale, it's one of the only things he's been consistent on and may end up being his downfall further down the line (as he's likely to want to refuse players who are talented if he thinks their character is wrong).

Tonali has been all over European press for the past two years as a generational talent, he was in the Milan side that won a league title, he's captain of the U-21 Italians, he's on the UEFA Youth to watch list.

It's not like it takes a scouting expert or the input of a couch to realise the club should snap up someone like that for what, £63m in todays market?

It's only Liverpool who don't have that kind of cash amongst the top British clubs, otherwise they'd buy him.

Or we have landed a shirt sponsorship deal that is in line with a Champions League team, has been approved by the rest of the PL, and in the process followed the league's requirement to stop taking money off gambling sites.

Are you paying off Spreadex so that you can get a non-betting sponsor? RSPCB might be interested.

Anyone got a list of all these transfers, ins & outs, I can't keep up with all this shhite and Munse posts so much bollocks I have to assume for now Toon haven't signed anyone.
