Spoke to Alfie many times during his period when he was off injured. always seemed a very pleasant lad and when I wished him a speedy recovery and said I hoped to see him in the first team squad he said that was a long way off. Really pleased that not only did he make a full recovery from his injury but he did make the first team squad and put in some very good performances and so pleased that he signed on with a new contract

Good to see Jack Bonham getting a good reception last night and responding to it after his performances for us last season
