Theyve also signed Victor Moses by the look of it.... I know you cant take everything seriously on Twitter but if there is not one ounce of something on there then it's got to be 100% BS especially when journos seem to know practically everything with the ins/outs of Liverpool.

It seems the "Transfer Madness" that the Bale deal was supposed to bring has already started. Ozil to Arsenal for £40-50 mil. Brilliant buy for Arsenal if it happens.

I know Real need to recoup some of the Bale price but Ozil is a great player! Makes no sense that he would be the one to go, especially as Kaka has stated he wants to leave. I guess tomorrow will be an exciting day!

As for Norwich, maybe Hughton will go after another CB but with Bass back and Turner, Bennett, Martin and Ayala we realistically have CB covered. An improvement obviously would be welcome but not necessary. Player coming back from injury over the International Break will bulk the squad back out. I imagine players like Butterfield and Fox might go, whether on loan or permanent. Maybe Ayala aswell, if we do go for a CB.

I actually wouldn't be averse to getting another RB. Maybe go for Naughton! That'd mean Martin could be moved fully to CB.
 
It doesn't matter that we have a position "covered". If CH has the opportunity to sign better quality he surely will. Alderweireld, for example, would have represented a shift to a higher level and strengthened our central play no end. (He can also play at RB, making him even better from our point of view.) .<ok>

totally agree robbie. i'd still like to see another centre half come in but equally there is little point unless they significantly improve our team, as alderweireld would have done.
 
Seems like the Quag is now heading in the direction of Birmingham according to the beebs rumour mill..... I dont get this... I can understand the hammers beating us to his signing, but West Brom? what's that all about?

"West Ham believe they have missed out on the loan signing of Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella, who could now be set to join West Brom.

"The 30 year-old Italy striker was also targeted by Norwich City this summer but West Ham had agreed a £300,000 loan fee only to be told the player is now expected to move elsewhere.

"Quagliarella arrived in England on Sunday for talks but now looks set to take the experience of Serie A, where he has played for the likes of Sampdoria, Udinese, Napoli and Torino to The Hawthorns
 
Also, interesting to see that loans have fees attached to them now too! Not seen this before, I always assumed that loans involved nothing more than a commitment to pay the players wages. Is this standard or a new development?

He Is a popular bloke it seems! I always thought he would most lkely stay in Italy rather than coming to the prem, but would like to think if he did come to the EPL, we would be in there fighting for him and given McNally's & Hughton's track record on signings I'd say we had as good a chance as any of succeeding
 
SSN reporting Kei Kamara is in England today. They've linked him with Palace, Middlesbrough, Copenhagen and Rayo Vallecano.
