QPR loses out on another player who decided he'd rather play in the Premier League.

Fulham Sign Scott Parker, another good signing for them.

Even with 'Arry and their millions no-one wants to go to QPHaHa while the're down with the Binners in Division Two <laugh>

I see they haven't really learnt their lesson, only difference is that they haven't got the Premier League to offer them.

Can't blame players opting to play in the Premier League though.

I don't think it's all Newcastle either. They've shot themselves in the foot, but they really didn't have a hope in hell anyway. Their major problem is that their paper thin squad is already straining - no left back, an injured left winger, a suspended cb, an injured loan striker

I think I'm going to change one of my favourites for relegation after watching the first half of Man City vs Newcastle, what a load of ****e Newcastle are!, down to 10 men now! Taylor sent off.

None of them look as though they want to be there. Only Ben Arfa, Krul, Coloccini and Gutierrez appear prepared to put a real shift in. The rest look as though they'd rather someone else had the ball and did something with it. <ok>

Gutierrez injured too doesn't help. 2-0 down, 10 men, and 2 subs used starving them of a tactical change. It's going to be a long second half for Newcastle!

Who was the culprit then? Player in the wall turned his back and didn't jump, went over his head and in. 0:3<ok>

Vernon Anita.

Ooh, Kompany injury, maybe they'll be the next team linked to Alderweireld now.

Cheers Cove! I think we've discussed him before as a twitter account that may-or-may-not be him announced he was joining us, hadn't seen anything about a medical though.

I'd much rather have Toivonen, but Elmander is probably the cheap option for a 4th striker, who adds a bit of experience. Surprised if a multi-year deal is accurate, I'd have thought we'd have offered him a year, then a year's extension if he played enough.

The VI article doesn't quote other sources or accounts so this has to be new information, else they would have credited it to a source.

Wouldn't mind this happening at all. Still has plenty to offer I'd say.

Who's your team Cove? You never said, are you being cagey? Enjoy your blogs, but please, no more from Danny (Frigging) Dyer please. <cheers>

Haha, my entire family is not into football, I only caught on when I was 18 or so. I was never brought up with a favourite team, I just started watching because of the game. So that helps a bit to report the news unbiased <cheers>

No more Danny Dyer I got it, got a lot of grief on the board for including that video in my blog, problem is that he is the only one that made such a documentary who does it in English. Thought it would help to build some context around my article. No such luck.
