It's all shaping up nicely. The Ruddy situation bothers me though because he is so important not just as a keeper but the presence he has in the side. Plus if he goes to Chelski he will hardly play any Prem games and that would be bad psychologically for a great English goalkeeper.

Great signing!, Ruddy wont leave, no chance of an England Cap if he is bench warming at Chelsea, it's everyone's dream to play in the World Cup!

Must admit it worries me too although deep down I know he won't be leaving us. Having the England Goalkeeper coach is in our favour too.

Where's 1950canary??? Perhaps he'll change to being 'glass half-full' with this signing!! <laugh>

Looking forward to seeing him running towards the N&P goal and scoring the winner against Swansea!!!! <cheers>

Very happy this has come off, and it certainly doesn't look like we'be paid a hugely inflated price. Also good to see we'be managed to persuade him he's better off here than Everton or Swansea, in which I presume Hughton had a major role.

We'be managed to strengthen a position which definitely needed it, and with a young player, so if/when we sign Nash as third keeper, he's not reducing our outfield options

Great signing but we need a couple more, ideally a midfielder who can bring the team together before we're up there.

Can't really disagree, but let's not get too greedy. We have made 2 QUALITY signings in the 1st week of the transfer window and there is still over 8 weeks to go. <ok>
