The latest rumour - we have a deal in place for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang for 8m. He's a striker from St Ettiene. Is one of the back ups if Walcott does not join.

Hope that is true and Walcott ****s off. Especially as I quite like my left testicle <ok>

Haven't they signed like 12+ players now? Without being cliche how are they all going to fit in and gel? Luckily they have Hughes in charge (who I don't rate) So fingers crossed they might be in for a rough season

I heard on the radio that they have signed four champions League winners too - Calvalho, Julia Cesar, ? & ?

We also sold or let 14 players go. So replacing 14 championship players with say 14 better classed premiership players is REALLY clueless. We are also in the bottom half of the transfer money paid league so we are not throwing 10s of millions on players that warm the bench :)
The question of Gelling is valid and we'll have to see how that goes :)

Your right, your not throwing millions at transfer fees, your doing it at wages instead <ok>

Lack of opportunities maybe? He would have been 16/17 leading up to the Euros, so Lowe probably wouldn't want to take up a space of a more experienced striker by experimenting with youth before a major tournament. It's just ridiculous to start asking these questions at this stage.

Even if not in the Germany team, he hasn't even made an apperance in the Bayer Leverkusen first team. Saying that, he does look like a striker for the near future. Hopefully Sami Hyypia does us a favour.

What I meant about QPR being clueless is that they're just chucking a load cash at a bunch of players with no real strategy. I mean, they buy a goalkeeper, then concede a bunch of goals in the first couple of games and think hang on...buying another goalkeeper will solve our problem.

It's like Hughes is looking at a certain area that needs tweaking, and instead of buying a player to improve he is just buying a load of random players to flood the team thinking it will solve the problem.

I'm baffled, why would Athletic Bilbao send a player who only has a year left on his contract out on a season long loan? Surely they would prefer to just sell him and get their paycheck than have him walk away free next year.

Sky Sports understands Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing has agreed a deal to join Bolton on loan. #LFC #BWFC

Loan??! Oh FFS, what the **** good is that to us? His wages are **** all anyway and it's not like he's going to suddenly become a footballing god on his loan at Bolton <doh>,

I'm going to call it now. After all the years of us being linked with Darren Bent from the start to end of the transfer window, we still aren't going to sign him.
