AFC officials met with Walcott's agents - AFC have said they will not sell Walcott this week, however he has not signed a new contract.

Either AFC are confident the player will sign a contract in the coming months, Walcott will hold out and leave on a free or AFC are trying to beef up their position when negotiating with potential buyers in the next few days.
 
Think this spells the end for Adam!

Asked about Charlie Adam's future, the manager replied: "Charlie's a very good player. He'll be a pivotal part of the Scottish national team going forward. He's a terrific player with a good left foot, who will score goals and I'm sure he'll do very well for Scotland."

Very blunt though, absolutely no mention of his future at LFC when the question was about his future! here's hoping he and Cole are shipped off and wage bill cleared further

Gotta laugh at the footballing cheats, Juventus. They wanted Van pussy and Suarez together, now looks like they will end up with Bendtner.

The latest rumour - we have a deal in place for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang for 8m. He's a striker from St Ettiene. Is one of the back ups if Walcott does not join.

Haven't they signed like 12+ players now? Without being cliche how are they all going to fit in and gel? Luckily they have Hughes in charge (who I don't rate) So fingers crossed they might be in for a rough season

Yeah, heard that one too. Wouldn't surprise me at all, I figured Rogers would have some un-linked striker wildcard up his sleave. No idea if this fella's any good though, never heard of him til now!
