Gerrard who is injured more than he plays.

Maxi, Cole and Bellamy - would be surprised if all three start the season.

Aqua is probably off and is hardly a role model at LFC.

Downing. Don't start. He looks scared, plays within himself. Not a leader.

That could be part of the problem...<whistle>

****ing what....

10.28 BST - DONE DEAL: Juventus have sold Dutch winger Eljero Elia to Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen for €5.5 million plus add-ons.

<doh> <doh> <doh> <doh> <doh>

Peanuts for a player we could def use.

He was always going there, don't think we were ever in for him.

The German league is very popular for Dutch players.

He also only played 5 games last season.

We can't get every decent player out there.

BST: Roma have confirmed they are considering an offer from Liverpool for striker Fabio Borini.

<laugh>

What is that in pounds? Like 4 mil? <doh>

This just shows for me that real quality is out there and for a good price if we go looking for it. Turn every stone etc.

I'd question whether Rodgers is turning every stone. Just before and after Bredon's appointment, a few Swansea fans had said that he seems keen on signing players he has worked with in the past, we've already tried for Sigurdson and now we are after Borini.

Stop being grumpy, that's Lucaaaas's job<ok>

Not being grumpy pal, just listening to a few comments from people that have already experienced our manager <ok>

I think Dempsey would do a good job for us so I wouldn't complain about signing him, just his age that concerns me but its about taking one step at a time <ok>

Edit: I don't know much about him but I'd be happy with Borini because we clearly need a striker plus he is young and promising too. I'd have been happy with Sigurdson for similar reasons <ok>

I don't think Rodger's would be stupid enough to sign players just because he's already done so before.

Borini looks good on paper.

- Cheap
- 9 in 24 at Roma, a big club, at the age of 20-21.
- 9 in 6 in the Championship for Swansea, aged 19-20.
- Versatile (Can play anywhere along a front three).
- A finisher, and by the looks of it a decent dribber.

Looks like he's already ours on Wiki <laugh>

Apparently the Gaston Ramirez rumours have been a red herring all along. Duncan Jenkins (usually reliable source) says that the interest from LFC is not there at the moment.

We are actually getting Cavani, that's why Carroll is going out on loan. <ok>
