Didn't every one of us bang on about a poacher??

Italian striker Giampaoli Pazzini looks to be on his way out of Inter Milan. "I'll be honest I believe the club has made its decision and that I'll no longer be a part of this project," he said.

Take aqua and about 2 mil..... your welcome.

FRom a Pazzo who is available ( poacher we need) to.......

23.23 BST Brazil starlet Paulo Henrique Ganso has played his last game for Santos, according to the player's representative Delcir Sonda. Full story

A player who an seriously provide some ammunition to the attack. Come on Lucas, on the horn bud!

From press conference.

- BR said he hopes to close one deal, possibly two, by the end of the week, before the tour.
- Refused to talk about reported bid for Granero.
- No bids for Carroll.
- Talked with Aquilani, seems to appreciate his quality but will judge over pre-season.
- Cole, as with Aquilani.

I know many liked the look of Hoilett but it seems they want big cash for him

16.44 BST: Blackburn manager Steve Kean must be dreaming, but he seems to think he can keep out-of-contract winger Junior Hoilett at the club. "Junior is out of contract and we've made him a very good offer. It's not dead yet," Kean told BBC Radio Lancashire. "If a club in this country signs him, there will be big compensation. We'd like him still to be here but I'm in the dark a little bit. When a player runs out of contract, you make him a good offer and he doesn't sign, you fear the worst, but we'll just have to wait and see."

Would rather pass this one by but I know it is one that probably interests Rodgers.

Not fussed on Hoillet but again I would trust BRs judgement over my own would be surprised if he's one of the ones we go for.

Any players from lower league placed teams like Hoilett, Moses, Davies, Dempsey or Jarvis would be horrible. Downing and Adam all over again.

It doesnt matter where they come from. Obviously some signings from lower clubs have gone wrong, but some go great.

Valencia - Wigan to United
Cahill - Bolton to Chelsea
Benayoun - West Ham to Liverpool
Johnson - Portsmouth to Liverpool
Parker - West Ham to Spurs
Duff - Blackburn to Chelsea

Well said.

Lets not forget Gary McAllister who's contract ran out at Coventry when he was 35 years old yet we signed him and he was absolutely outstanding for us for 2 years.

Downing has always been inconsistent, he's had two good seasons in his long career, he was always a risk. As opposed to someone like Dempsey who has been steadily improving year on year in the PL.

I agree, I didn't mean literally everyone, but there are some players we have been linked with that I just don't see adding anything to us.

Steve Finnan...<ok>

Inter Milan and Liverpool have made approaches to Juventus for Milos Krasic.

Juve need to find a buyer for the Serb, who is now in the plans of coach Antonio Conte.

Inter sounded out Juve about Krasic last week and offered a flat €10 million, which has been turned down. This follows Liverpool's €7.5 million offer, which was made in June.

I can see this one being true, could it be the exciting one Rodgers banged on about?

for the record i am right... you could have 17 foreigners and nobody else. if you stick in 8 nobodies it works.... thats the point. the hg rule was basically already negated by the cop outs before it even came in.... its rubbish.

as for guys quoting small club players who did join big clubs... 80% of players start at small clubs... but you have to admit guys that for every good example quoted there's lots of average players as well.

that'd be a bad deal seeing barca seem to want to offer like £5 for players so we'd need to replace agger but in the end he's got a serious injury record....

do i really care? nah.

nope...

he's decent for fulham but god he'd just end up aging fast and be kuyt with a year left i nhis legs.

If we pick him up it does say things IMO... bad things.

when we are linked with the likes of gaston rameriez and borini and others and we end up with dempsey.....

look he's good, he has carried fulham, he's american and in his prime but i SO want my club to be better than this.
