Cheeky £5mil bid for Young? Value must have dropped dramatically this summer <whistle>

Rumour-grade talk today of Lescott to Anfield and, disturbingly, Agger to Eastands:

A player who had a much more impressive Euro than any Frenchman or England was the Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic, whose slick displays convinced Bayern Munich that he's the man for them: which means Manchester City are likely to be left lumbered with Eden Dzeko. Joleon Lescott may be on his way away from Manchester, however, as City are said to be mulling over letting him go to Liverpool, which would facilitate City's swoop for Daniel Agger. If that elaborate plot is thwarted, City will just go buy Fabricio Coloccini.

Not having CL footy is just killing us though....

The Peru international still has a year remaining on his current contract with the Viola, having joined the club from Catania in 2008 for €12 million.

"There is the possibility that he (Vargas) will leave Fiorentina," Vargas' agent, Jorge Cyterszpiler, told tuttomercatoweb.com. "But at this time it's just a rumour and there is nothing official.

"He didn't have the best of seasons and he needs to make up for it next season. Liverpool is an option, but there is also Malaga, which has the attraction of playing in next season's Champions League.

"Does he have a preference with regards to playing the Premier League or the Primera Liga? Vargas likes both leagues as well as the Serie A."

A bit but he is good though and Rooney has weight problems but that doesn't stop him from being " world class" <ok>

Cardiff are interested in Bellamy. He's a top player I hope he stays.

I wouldn't mind him leaving if we brought in a decent replacement - a much younger player with the same pace and attributes; Elia for example.

EDIT

Just looked at G. Ramirez on wiki - apparently he's already playing for us! Got to love the poor souls that change wiki articles.

Bluff might be onto something with those Joao Moutinho rumours, after watching the last 2/3 games he looks good. Can see more attractive teams interested though. :(

Interesting stat: Victor Moses had the most successful completed dribbles last season. Would be wasted at Chelsea behind Mata and Hazard.
