Ya, had Gaitan before as well he was good too. I did a side one with Bilbao and bought Armero, Mata, Damiao, Reyes, Javi Garcia, Lugano, Castro, and Veloso. THat team was good too but Real and barca were incredibly tough to overcome.
Sim to the windows? haha! That just leaves your team in the hospital though, always get hurt when you do that ****.
Javi Garcia is brilliant. Veloso's stats are incredible too but without too much pace, not that it matters too much in the middle. Leandro is alright but it takes two or three seasons for him to come good and he never wants to join a lower league side, that's if you can afford him!
After playing through some of the games and playing in general, If I had to pick from the game two defensive bosses it would be Diarra ( lass) and Javi Garcia. They might not be 85+ but they are just monsters in the middle. If you want someone with some pace and not too much Pierre Emerick Abumeyang form St. Etienne. about 15 mil (dollars)
Good shout on Emerick Abumeyang, always try to get him but have to wait a season first because of him only just joining St Etienne. Very fast youngsters whose stats become very good too
Gotze is another who you just can't seem to get the funds to get! Would be nice but hard to get those guys. Also if you want a grower in the back get Ogbonna and Criscito. They start low but end up extremely high. Oh and my namesake from Crystal Palace is meant to grow very high as well.
I tried Veloso but didn't like him. He was forever floating around in the wrong place - a CDM with high/low workrate, wtf. Arturo Vidal is bar none the best defensive mid I think. Busquets is surprisingly good, as is Granero... but Vidal is a machine. There's a Brazilian for Sau Paulo (I think) called Casemiro that grows incredibly fast, into one of the best. Juventus have a youngster called Pires that goes from 67 to 88 or so as well.
Never got close to getting Gotze but when looking at his stats and how much he'd cost, I always opt for someone else. Bought Ogbonna a few times, usually stick him at LB for a season then move him into the middle once his stats grow Not an 'unheard of' but I usually try to get Van Der Wiel for RB too, costs around £12m in first season but becomes a top top player within a couple of seasons
Caseimero is quality. Vidal is good but I never have the funds and go for Diarra or M'Bia ( Marseille not M'Villa). Another defender is Dede from Botafogo or Vasco who is an awesome CB. Juve also have a swede who starts out on loan ( defender) who is another with that high potential.
Vidal is a good shout but he is another one you have to wait a season before buying due to him having just joined Juventus (?) Busquets is decent but not the quickest which I think is important in DM. Casemiro is good but I have a thing about not buying players that don't have a proper profile picture on the game
Same, I try to avoid them! Really grates with me. Busquets is strange - he shouldn't be good but he is. His positioning is always great, and his close control. dribbling and passing combined with his height make him a good all-rounder.
Not really, I've got pretty good at the dribbling so I prefer players with his skill-set. I look at agility and balance before any other physical stat.
I'm pretty basic with all of the moves, I tend to knock the ball around as quick as I can. Pace is big for me but depends on the position. Don't need it certain areas prefer it in some. I don't play over the top and try to avoid it. Probably due to 2007-09 I think it was so easy to play balls over the top and it didnt matter who it was. you could put lennon up top and he would score 40 goals a season due to his speed.
