I agree it seems high to me and I don't remember any fee being reported at the time of signing, but I assumed it would just be a smaller undisclosed fee, I never assumed it was a "free" loan, I assume premier league clubs will always look to get fees off each other.
Yeah maybes not free but a fee of 5m dont think arsenal paid that much for sterling, we were developing one of the assets in a premier league environment with no option
