Hahaha - The Wissa deal includes a 25% sell-on according to Ornstein. You'd expect it won't come to anything but still very very funny.

I have. I live in an area which has mainly been 50/50. They seem to talk (shout) to each other about NUFC on the understanding that we all want to hear about it, even for the benefit of people at the other side of the room/street. They seem to have this built in assumption that everybody supports Newcastle and that everybody loves football.
I **** you not, I had my bedroom window open at around 7am, a few Sunday mornings ago, and was woken by a couple of them angrily talking loudly directly underneath, '****ing, ****ing, Isak, twatting, should play for the shirt-ing'
I can honestly say that I have never heard 2 Sunderland supporters go on like that. I cant say that we dont, but we must do it more discreetly and only for the benefit of those interested.
It’s the same reason they’re always kitted out for the airports and when abroad. They’ll never admit it but it’s because they think people are going to admire them for supporting the Toon and almost congratulate them on it. The lack of self-awareness is on a different level.

Could a Mr Brobbey chant be mint or would we look like a reet bunch of ****s?

I’m on the fence. Might be a vibe to be fair <laugh>
It was not on my list of likely football songs I’ll admit but I’d like to see the Seaburn Casuals smashing it out with their tags on

Those talks very short lived.

“Can we have him?”
“No.”

“Please?…”
“**** off.”

“Understandable, bye.”
<laugh>

At least we tried. We’ll pester them again in January until we sicken them so much that they just say ‘here man, ****ing have him you are doing our heads in’

That’s standard nowadays I think.
Wouldnt call 5m loan fee for a young player is standard, I would be surprised if we paid that

All I remember seeing that it was straight loan full wages covered and assurances over game time or a fee would be incurred
