Life's too short for all this bickering, and at the end of the day (I've said this before) we are here because we all support the same team and all want the best for the club. Players, staff and owners will come and go, but us fans will always remain.

Totally agree with the content of this post. Someone talking sense at last.

The bit I've highlighted is fantastic and I'm grateful to them for their input. Unfortunately, 1 or 2 of them have another side to them, where they go totally over the top in their abuse levels, presumably to emphasise their point. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and has led to bans for 2 of them. The 3rd one who is banned generally contributes very little but is happy to wade in to someone elses argument, calling someone a ****, as they have old scores to settle. Again totally unacceptable and deserves a ban.

I'm hoping the first 2 in question reflect on this situation and are back soon to provide the valuable contribution that they have in the past and that we all do our utmost to bring harmony back to what once was a wonderful site.

They've had weeks to sort this out and have just 'done a Newcastle' imo ...

... probably end up in the same position.

Sunderland have gauged this perfectly imo, it's been a good window and better than we could've imagined.

Not the first time the lad has answered it either! He signed pro here when he has other offers including that lot and he has signed and extension pretty much straight away! By that I mean until 18 I don’t think you can sign a contract more than 2 years and the club and him have sorted out an extension pretty quick once old enough!

The club really is a place people want to be …

… they’ve barely but a foot wrong.

Wouldn’t blame them if they didn’t come back at all tbh, I never get involved in this side of the board but I’m baffled as to what they have apparently done, there’s bickering on here all the time might aswell ban half the board if you can’t express different opinions, it’s done now and it is what it is but it’s poor

I understand fully why bringing folks family and threats would result in a ban, but nobody should be banned for a footy disagreement or a ‘man to man’ disagreement.

We all adults, most of us have had back and forth on here on occasion it’s part and parcel.

Me and my pals will argue before, during and after games as well, it’s absolutely normal that’s how the world works.
