They’ve been blessed by him having a decent season for Palmas there. Would have been lucky to see half of that.
That’s a great sale.
Will they reinvest? Probably got £60m+ coming in for Larsen too…

Yeah I agree think Larsen ends up at Newcastle good player but think they will end up over paying for him

Him and Wissa is as strong as Isak and Wilson in terms of depth

I'm just spending my time looking at younger strikers that have played on the right now. We do need a creative option there and have virtually no links. Franculino from Midtjylland looks a beast from his highlights.

Thought Jones 2 did ok when replacing Huggins but it highlighted why the promotion winning team simply aren’t good enough and hence why we have had such a massive intake of players . Huggins,Neil, Roberts, offered very little last night and did not help the new players and youngsters much and moving them on won’t be easy , the worth of Neil I would suggest is over stated by a lot of supporters I think if we could get £6-8 m , that money could be put towards further recruitment .Isidor was taken off possibly looking toward Saturday when he was causing countless problems when playing out wide on the left .i realise losing out is disappointing but not not disastrous main focus is staying in the Premier League regroup and go again .
yep Jones 2 did well...

I think we currently have them athletic types what we dont have is someone of mcneils quality be it from crosses etc

Interesting one, not sure which type the club will go for
I don’t think Adingra is quick at all, Talbi is but I don’t see Adingra running away from full backs

My tin hat is definitely on here, but I just want to know people's thoughts so far.

In terms of talent at the moment mate, Le Fee, Xhaka and Diarra should ordinarily be our midfield 3, although I have been impressed by Sidiki. However, I wonder if Xhakas lack of pace is leading to RLB selecting Sidiki on the cover, rather than playing ELF?

I also feel that Xhaka, Le Fee/Diarra and Rigg could be a good match, but again will Xhakas lack of pace mean RLB selects Sidiki ahead of Rigg or Le Fee?

It's a bit of a dilemma. I think that Xhaka does need to show a bit more than he has so far, and I'm sure he will once he gets up to speed. There's certainly no faulting his leadership skills on the pitch, I just wanted to discuss whether anyone else thought he might be hampering us attacking wise.

The midfield will change through the season.

Xhaka though was not brought in to be an attacking player. I thought he was good against West Ham and fine against Burnley first half. He did his jod.

Attacking wise, the players we have, particularly out wide have to be more prepared to take their men on. Losing the ball up there is not a crime and you don't have to get past the man every time. But you have to keep at it. That's what just wasn't there second half on Saturday.

A bloke who used to coach a team I once played for used to tell the wingers that it was a free hit for them to take a man on, and lose the ball. It was up to " them" (pointing at me!) to get it back.
