So fickle it’s unbelievable, the lads at the top genuinely couldn’t have done any more. Fans like this don’t deserve the good times that we’ve had this summer.

I think the time he posted might need to be taken into account, I mean he always talks out of his arse but I think he’s had a good slurp before that one, luckily he only posts once a week it’s always a corker though

You are such a whopper.
You’re that classic wind-up merchant every football forum ends up with. You sneak on here, pretend to be one of us, and then post something just to stir the pot. It’s obvious, you go over the top with negativity after a win, make ridiculous claims about players, or throw out doom-and-gloom predictions that don’t stack up. You’re not here for proper football chat, just to get a bite, and the more people rise to it, the more you think you’ve won. It’s not about the game for you, it’s just about winding people up.You are a very sad individual.

Some of the reaction to Mayenda mind has infuriated me. The difference when he was on the pitch is night and day.

Facts are he always carries a threat. Didn’t have a great game but was on the end of the chance and had a couple of great runs where he held the ball.

He’s 1 in 2 in the League and still learning it. I’ve no concerns with Mayenda.

We should be looking at the fact we only created one chance for him.

Lautaro. Isak, Salah whoever nobody scores every chance. They get multiple chances.

Midfield needs shuffled we lack creativity there. We need to give the runners more to run into, then strikers get more chances.

Put simply, it’s time for Enzo centrally. It doesn’t concern me which of Diarra or Sadiki makes way as I feel with can work with Enzo. I’d argue Diarra based on performances, but he is probably better to play advanced of Enzo and Xhaka.

It’s a real positive that we have an alternative right there.

Donnaruma is a bomb scare playing out from the back so wonder if they'll change that

Aye doesn’t look a fantasy fit for City, but this playing out from the back in the way they do is getting to its end now I feel.

Arsenal played out from the back but it was wider, faster and it can still be effective.

Spurs were all over it and it’s gonna go the way of the initial ‘Klopp press’ that after a while folks worked around I think.

There was a balance found in the press which will always work, there’ll be similar in how team play out from back.

Trafford simply doesn’t look ready to be number 1 at such an expectant club.

Donnaruma definitely and upgrade, but does suggest they might shuffle how they play out.

Although it might suit us I’m not happy about how it appears that Lucumi and his agent are going about getting a move to us because the same thing could happen to us if he’s here and wants a move in the future.

We do need a CB though.
When Dan went off we weren’t as secure at the back. Seelt may well be a future Premier CB but he’s not there yet and if he plays against Brentford they will target him as our weak spot.

Donnaruma is good, poor playing out from the back and gets caught out with crosses at times but he's an upgrade on Trafford for sure

It has infuriated me too the switch up is outrageous even top players miss chances

Are city fans demanding another striker after yesterday’s haaland performance against spurs?

I was annoyed he missed his chance yesterday (he missed timed it and the ball hit his standing leg ) but we are at our most dangerous when he’s on the pitch. I am still of the opinion that he will score 10+ goals in the league this season

this is the premier league we as a fanbase are going to need to understand we are probably going to lose more than we win, we aren’t top dogs anymore I know it’s been a while since we haven’t been one of the biggest clubs in the league we are in. But we can’t be having a meltdown every time we lose otherwise the club is somehow going to become more toxic than 23/24

I don’t think there was a meltdown mind. Few lost their heads a wee bit but overall it was ‘that happened, we have options, move on’.

We’ve 2 games this week, one get the second options up to season speed, the second is massive.

It will be bouncing on Saturday again, mark my words.
